Our goal is to eliminate vaccine-preventable diseases and reduce the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases by ensuring age-appropriate vaccination of the population.
The Health Department provides all required and most recommended vaccinations to infants, children and adults. Some charges may apply. We accept self pay, Medicaid, Cigna, and some Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
Walk-in service available at the Statesville location Mon-Fri 8AM-4PM.
Those with an appointment will be seen before walk-ins.
Immunization services provided in Statesville and Mooresville locations.

Mooresville:
Immunizations are available by appointment only at different times throughout the week.
At this location, we offer vaccines for children, adults and some for travel.
TB tests and Typhoid vaccines are currently only available at our Statesville location.

Fees and Eligibility
There is a flat rate charge for each vaccine plus an administration fee. Payment is required at time of service.
Payment for vaccines can be Private pay, Medicaid, or private insurance (BC/BS & Cigna only). We can bill Medicare for flu and pneumonia vaccines only.
Some clients may meet eligibility criteria to receive state-supplied vaccine at no cost to them.
Service is provided regardless of county of residence.
