Baseball & T-Ball

Baseball & T-Ball

Recreation baseball is offered through ICPRD, via local athletic associations, in the spring.
  • T-Ball is for ages 5-6.
  • Baseball is for ages 7-15.
Registration begins for children within the individual communities through local volunteer coordinators and athletic associations. Coordinators will assign children to teams and schedule practices.

Practices are usually through the week. Once games begin, most teams will have one game during the week, and one game on Saturdays.

Most local athletic associations will fall under one of two Athletic Conferences for baseball, either Babe Ruth of Iredell County (BRIC) or Lake Area Youth Athletic Conference (LAYAC).

Baseball - 2021 Spring Season

Registration begins for children within the individual communities in mid-January and runs through late-February. Players are assigned to teams by the local athletic association. Most games begin in late March/early April, and run approximately 10 weeks, ending in late May. Once games begin, most teams will have one game during the week, and one game on Saturdays. Tournament play may follow the regular season.
